Info: The Natural Reserve of Monte Rufeno, instituted in 1983, is part of the system of the protected areas in Lazio and extends for 2892 hectares in the territory of Acquapendente to the border with Umbria and Tuscany.

Fauna: At Monte Rufeno we have 122 species of animals (65% of species of Viterbo and 54% of whole Lazio).

Flora: oaks, olives and grazing places.
